The home office room is
very convenient at the bottom of the basement stairs, and is
completely finished—tied into the central heating and A/C
system. It has enough space for a desk, computer
equipment, filing cabinets, and a wall-mounted supply cabinet.
This is also the room where the central wiring panel for the
entire home is housed and configured.
Exercise & Utility Room
This is the area you walk into from the garage,
either by garage door or entrance door. This has wall to wall
carpet and textured painted walls. We use this part of the basement for an exercise area with a
stationary bicycle and "Total Gym" fitness equipment.
Right next to it is a utility closet ( 3x8) where the electrical panel
is housed, and we use it for storage space and have an upright
freezer in it. There is also built-in hangers for coats.
Storage and Work Bench
In the rear of the basement is a long storage
area with a built-in work bench that includes a pegboard and
outlets.
