 At
the center of the Dining Room is a simple but elegant
chandelier sporting not just dimming capacity but also includes a
downward spotlight to accent your table centerpiece. The Dining
Room was built as a “companion” room to the Living Room, which
together serve as the more formal parts of the home. They share
 the
same beautiful hardwood cherry floors, honey wood-stained chair
rails and crown molding, and stained, double French pocket
doors.
Windows were placed in the dining room off-center on walls to
accommodate most dining room set buffets and china cabinets. The
window that faces the deck was also intended to be a “server
window” for backyard entertaining, providing easy access to
transfer food and refreshments from the kitchen. An overhead
speaker with wall-mounted volume control ties into the central
music system.
