Safety & Security
Keeping your loved ones safe and secure is a priority for
every family. Here are some of the items we built in for
it:
- Motion flood lights in the driveway and back door.
- Lower hand railings on both staircases
- Widening the hallway where the basement stairs enter the
kitchen so there's plenty of room to open the door
(especially the kids)
- Home alarm system with sensors at each main door, with
optional connection to external security company
- Fenced-in backyard
- Window safety catches that prevent children from opening
windows more than 6-8", and prevent intruders from opening
an unlocked window
- Well-padded and carpeted staircases
- Deadbolts on exterior doors
- The Master bedroom was purposely placed in close
proximity to the staircase to know when people are entering
and leaving the second floor
- A hardwired and interconnected smoke detector system
