Safety & Security

Keeping your loved ones safe and secure is a priority for every family.  Here are some of the items we built in for it:

  1. Motion flood lights in the driveway and back door.
  2. Lower hand railings on both staircases
  3. Widening the hallway where the basement stairs enter the kitchen so there's plenty of room to open the door (especially the kids)
  4. Home alarm system with sensors at each main door, with optional connection to external security company
  5. Fenced-in backyard
  6. Window safety catches that prevent children from opening windows more than 6-8", and prevent intruders from opening an unlocked window
  7. Well-padded and carpeted staircases
  8. Deadbolts on exterior doors
  9. The Master bedroom was purposely placed in close proximity to the staircase to know when people are entering and leaving the second floor
  10. A hardwired and interconnected smoke detector system
